Instructions to make Meat pie:
  1. In a big bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking powder together.
  2. Add the butter, then add water bit by bit and continue to mix until dough is formed. Knead the dough until water is well incorporated. Leave it for about 1 hour.
  3. Diced and wash the carrots, potatoes and onions together. In a pot, pour the potatoes, carrots, onions in a pot. Add small salt, maggi and little water. Allow it to boil for like 5 minutes. Then set aside.
  4. In a separate pot. Add the minced meat, curry, thyme, maggi, onions salt, little water. Allow to boil for like 15 minutes till the minced meat is browned. Pour the previous boiled carrots and potatoes into the meats. Add like a handful of flour to the mixture to thicken it. Then add like half cup of water and allow it to boil for another 2 minutes. Then set aside.
  5. Cut a small portion out of the dough. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a flat surface. Scoop one table spoon of the sauce into the roll out dough and cover it. You can use fork to design the edges of the meat pie.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining dough and set it up in an oven tray. Break the 2 eggs in a small bowl and whisk together and brush the egg wash over the all the meat pies
  7. Preheat the oven to about 350oF. Place the oven tray inside the oven and bake for like 15 minutes till the meat pie colour turn to golden yellow
  8. Your meat pie is ready
