- Take 1/2 kg petha(pumpkin)
- Make ready 1 kairi (kacha aam)raw mango
- Take 1/2 tsp saunf/ fennel seeds
- Make ready 1/2 tsp zeera /cumin seeds
- Make ready 1/4 tsp methi dana /fenugreek seeds)
- Prepare Pinch heeng/asafoetida
- Make ready 1/2 tsp kasturi methi
- Prepare 1/2 tsp sugar
- Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Take 1 tsp coriander powder
- Make ready To taste salt
- Get As needed oil
It is also known as petha sabzi or kaddu ki sabzi. Kaddu is the Hindi word for Pumpkin. and this recipe only has pumpkin, pumpkin and pumpkin in it 🙂 so a must-try for all pumpkin lovers. Instructions to make Petha sabji:
- Cut petha in cubes and wash it.
- Take a pan,heat the oil and add jeera and crackle.then add tomatoes and Cook for one minute.
- After one minute add all spices and mix well.add chopped petha And stir.add 1/2 cup water and covered with lid.after 10 minutes open the lid and stir.
- Add sugar and covered with lid For 5 minutes.after 5 minutes off the flame.petha is ready to serve.
